Our speciality is working with women undergoing IVF treaments. The treatments we provide support a woman’s ability to conceive and carry the baby to term. We work with your Gynecologist to ensure a high rate of success.

If you’re not undergoing IVF, we are happy to assist you in preparation for conception and continued care throughout your pregnancy. Preparing for conception can increase the likelihood of delivering a healthy child.

Throughout your pregnancy, you may experience a variety of symptoms like nausea, backpain, swelling, irritability to name a few, that can be relieved through Chinese Medicine.

Scientific research studies have shown that acupuncture can improve fertility and increase the success of IVF. Many fertility centers now recommend combining acupuncture with western fertility treatments.

Acupuncture can increase fertility by reducing stress, increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs and balancing the endocrine system, according to medical research. The goal of an infertility treatment from a Chinese Medicine perspective is not just to get pregnant, but to stay pregnant and to have a healthy baby.

Preparing for IUI and IVF:

A recent study reports, “When combining IUI with TCM treatments, 65.5 percent of the test group was able to conceive, compared with 39.4 percent of the control group, who received no herbal or acupuncture therapy.” Acupuncture infertility treatment has almost no side effects while performing the same function as the drugs do: stimulating the endocrine system and its hormones and treating the root cause of female infertility as well as male infertility.

OMG, where do I begin? Please read this review in its entirety because I see him for multiple issues.I first saw Dr. Liu after a failed IVF fertility treatment with a different acupuncturist and I thought I would try and give Dr. Liu a try. Based on my consultation with him and what he learned about my medical history, he asked that I postpone my next attempt with IVF for at least 3 months to start treatment with him. I can’t even start to how explain how grateful, experienced and a true expert and healer he is in his skill. After my three months of treatment with him, his goal was egg quality. I had 7 eggs extracted and 5/7 were graded as “A” and the others as a “B.” The rest is history, and I have two beautiful kids now and I know his treatments had a huge part in my success.

Dr. Liu is an M.D. and a fourth-generation TCM doctor. I came to see Dr. Liu for a few issues, but I saw him very regularly when I was pregnant. He greatly helped with morning sickness. It did not go away completely (which is actually good for the development of the fetus), but Dr. Liu recommended some recipes that my husband made for me at home, so I could finally eat! :)). Then in my second trimester I got sick, and my former doctor at Kaiser pressured me to take antibiotics, but Dr. Liu healed me without them!
He also helped heal my baby’s eczema with just simple recommendations that my husband and I followed.
But what really stands out in my mind is the peaceful atmosphere in Dr. Liu’s office. I always loved going there, just to relax (needles and all ;), knowing that i’m in capable hands, that this doctor will spend time with me, listen to my concerns, and will actually do something to help, without the side-effects!

We met Dr. Liu about 3 years ago because of wanting to get pregnant. Before that, We had struggled for years for wanting to be parents. Now our dream have come true with a healthy 2 year old boy and another baby is coming up in months thanks to Dr. Liu. He’s really been caring and patient with us.
